"Description of Job • Specialist Trauma & Orthopedic Surgeon preferably with a subspecialty interest in knee or shoulder surgery or pediatric orthopedics. • Sub-specialized training and experienced will be considered advantageous. • Substantial trauma experience in major hospitals is essential. • Clinical activity includes outpatient clinics, inpatient and day surgery operating sessions, ward rounds and on call duties. • Administrative work associated with your clinical and other professional work. Adequate time and facilities for clinical administration, including appropriate office. Must be currently practicing or licensed in the field of Orthopaedic Medicine, and in good standing at an accredited healthcare entity/hospital in any of the eligible medical jurisdictions licensed in the Cayman Islands: Jamaica/Caribbean, USA, United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. • Fluent in the English language and demonstrate effective oral communication and writing skills in said language. • Possess strong work-ethics and excellent interpersonal skills, thereby promoting a culture of collaboration and camaraderie. • Willing to contribute time and efforts through membership to the many Medical Staff Committees and activities that facilitates best practice and patient well-being.
