Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Monitor portion sizes, presentation, and quality of all food items to ensure consistency and adherence to company standards. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following proper sanitation procedures and food safety regulations. Team Leadership: Provide guidance, training, and supervision to kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and prep cooks. Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of duties. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock. Minimize waste and maximize resource utilization through effective inventory control and portion management. Certification from a recognized culinary institution (e.g., ServSafe) is an asset.
