We are looking someone versatile who can assist our Pastry Chef and bakery team with delicious new pastry creations. This will include assisting with the baking of sweet and savory pastries for our cafes, events, restaurant clients and special request. Bakery Assistant Responsibilities: Execute directions from the Head Baker and Pastry Supervisor in all aspects of production. Assist in the preparation and production of makings various savory products and pastries. Follow recipes and instructions to accurately measure and mix ingredients. Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters. Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure proper cooking. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery area. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.
