SCOPE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES. • Providing technically sound advice and highly responsive service to clients. • Developing and expanding client relationships important to the Firm’s success at the same time becoming a valued resource to clients. • Providing advice on a wide range of investment funds matters including hedge, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, energy, credit, debt, venture capital, cryptocurrency and blockchain. • Providing advice with respect to corporate transactions including joint ventures, acquisitions, series financings and corporate reorganisations. • Supporting colleagues, senior counsel and partners on matters. • Using the global network to build the Firm resources. • Maintaining a sustained record of revenue generation and profitability • Adhering to Firm's values, professional ethics, and procedures • Participating in the development of the practice’s know-how, share knowledge, and occasionally participate in conferences, seminars and internal training. KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • Qualified in the Cayman Islands or in another Commonwealth jurisdiction, in the latter case with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience. • Minimum of an Upper Second-Class Honours law degree; from a Tier 1 University preferred. • Experience working in a top-tier international or leading offshore law firm. • Proven track record in managing complex legal transactions. • Demonstrated ability to perform above and beyond expectations in a fast-paced and high-performance culture while delivering an accurate and timely work product. • Highly skilled and proficient in written and verbal communication. • Experience working with legal precedents and law firm management tools including timekeeping and billing systems. • Relevant business development and marketing experience within a top tier international or leading offshore law firm. • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, a team player, willing to support others regardless of personal role or task and to help others in identifying development needs and subsequent training.
