REQUIREMENTS: • Must register with the Health Practice Commission of the Cayman Islands • Registered OT with your state, province or country • Bachelor or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy • Minimum 2 years experience in paediatric clinical setting • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the program including heavy lifting and bending • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle • Criminal records check Key Responsibilities • Work with clients and their families to set OT goals that have measurable outcomes. • Provide direct service, consultation, mediation and education to client, family and community providers. • Utilize research to establish and support evidence-based practice. • Provision of in-school consultations to parents and/or teachers as and when needed. • Ability to facilitate group sessions. • Manage a caseload of approximately 25-30 direct therapy sessions (60 minute sessions) per week. • Provide a minimum of 2 presentations to the community per calendar year.
