We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual for the position of Account Executive, Insurance Management in our Cayman office. Reporting directly to the VP, Catastrophe Bonds (“VP”), the successful applicant will have a strong sense of accountability and will be responsible for providing all aspects of the day-to-day management services to a portfolio of insurance linked security entities. Responsibilities • Provide accounting and administrative services to a portfolio of insurance linked security entities. • Monitor client’s compliance, in conjunction with the VP and the compliance team with relevant laws and regulations and ensure any issue is escalated in a timely manner. • Draft management accounts and IFRS/GAAP financial statements. • Coordination and preparation of all regulatory filings. • Liaise with client personnel and service providers. • Prepare meeting materials and make presentations at client meetings. • Follow all policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations and internal risk control standards. Assisting the Compliance Officer with remedial actions for non-compliance occurrences. • Contribute to the achievement of specific Dominant Priorities and the strategic direction of the company. • To assist with development and monitoring of internal systems to ensure their effectiveness. • Enhance your knowledge of the industry through participation in industry related educational opportunities. • Lead and contribute to other project as assigned. Qualifications • ACA, CA, CPA or ACCA professional accounting qualification. • 2 years ‘post-qualifying experience. • Knowledge of the Cayman Islands insurance market and regulatory environment would be advantageous. • Detailed knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP including an excellent understanding of insurance and investment accounting standards. • Strong financial reporting and analytical skills. • Advanced computer literacy skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. • Motivated individual who is deadline driven and committed to delivering an excellent level of client service. • Excellent verbal, written, organizational skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels. Salary is in the range of USD$105k to USD$110k and based on qualifications and experience, exceptional health, pension and life benefits.
