The role will include teaching group classes, 1:1 private sessions and partner sessions for matwork and reformer Pilates. Teaching with full understanding of the equipment as well as the client's body is fundamental to the role, and is why certification of training is required. The employee will be teaching in various settings, including at home, at client's houses and within small Pilates studios on Island. The need to travel to clients and classes is vital, and a timely professional manner is needed at all times. Alongside teaching, this position will ask that client booking and payments are managed by the Pilates instructor seamlessly and professionally, whilst also managing their own timetable of teaching each week. Responsibility of care for clients is crucial to this role. The instructor will be expected to teach clients with thorough care and guidance, handling sessions in a professional manner with a focus on health and safety, particularly when using reformer beds and other equipment. Qualification: Certified as a Pilates Instructor in all equipment with Advanced level training and a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience.
