Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Landscape Architecture or Landscape Management with a minor in Business or equivalent in experience A minimum of five years’ experience in estimating and field management A minimum five years in a supervisory role overseeing both sub contracted labour and in-house labour A minimum ten years of experience in landscape maintenance and supervising landscape staff Advanced knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, document management, and cost forecasting Proven experience leading work in the field, supervising multiple teams of sub contracted labour on multiple projects Experience working with USDA Plant Hardiness Zone 10 and 11 plant material.   A hands-on approach to creating unique installation and design solutions for projects ranging from small-scale designs to large-scale commercial projects  Operate landscape projects to ensure quality service, cost effectiveness and exceptional project standards Prepare & manage landscape project reporting, budgets and estimates up to US$2M Participate in construction meetings ensuring works abide by the company standards and safety requirements Lead work in the field, supervising a team of landscapers, irrigation techs, gardeners, arborists, and spray techs to maintain the company’s grounds and landscapes in Cayman and other Caribbean islands if needed Develop property landscape maintenance schedules and integration of specialized horticultural practices to this scheduling process Develop and lead turf grass installation and maintenance programs. Develop and maintain budgets related to landscape maintenance Knowledge of nursery management and its relation to active project scheduling
