Position Overview In this role they support teaching teams, students, and parents to identify student needs and to articulate or develop appropriate interventions. The Teacher Assistant/ learning Support will assist in mainstream teacher in all facets of classroom/ school life. The Teacher Assistant will perform many leadership, organizational and classroom management tasks to support both Teachers and students, to always maintain a high level of teaching and learning. Position Requirements • Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), student teacher is acceptable however must currently have proof of enrollment in teaching programme • Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate with others. • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Preferred minimum of two years’ experience teaching • Solid understanding of classroom activities and teaching best practices; • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation abilities; • Assist in developing lesson plans based on the specific needs of each child and the ability to work with children in literacy and math.
