On behalf of our client, Ironshore Contracting Ltd. is seeking a Finish Carpenter who can help with the high-end residential and commercial renovation projects. Must be able to work in the workshop assisting in building and finishing cabinets and installing them onsite. Much of the work is building complicated staircases, box beams, ceilings, custom wall molding applications. The company also frames steel in commercial applications and installs suspended ceiling systems. A Finish Carpenter is at the top of his trade. This person knows how to do all the things listed in the job description proficiently without requiring a learning curve and training. A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Finish Carpenter is required and able to work with little to no supervision. Must be able to communicate well via email as this is how the prospective employee will get instructions from and then communicate with their clients. Must work well with other trades onsite. Can work well with tight deadlines, is a good team player and must be physically fit.
