• Participating as a senior team member in complex cross-border finance transactions, including, asset finance, CLOs, fund financing, corporate restructurings, securitisations, leveraged acquisition financing, bank lending and various other Cayman Islands general corporate and regulatory matters. • Leading the team in proactively developing and expanding client relationships key to the Firm's success at the same time becoming a valued resource to clients. • Leading on matters important to the Firm and using the global network to build Firm resources. • Maintaining a strong and sustained record of revenue generation and profitability; following recommended billing rates, managing costs appropriately; ensuring personal utilization meets expectations. • Mentoring and supervising of attorneys. • Adhering to the Firm's values and professional ethics and proactively seeking resolution of challenges. • Leading in the development of the practice's know-how, sharing knowledge, and participating in conference, seminars and internal training. • Qualified in the Cayman Islands or another Commonwealth jurisdiction, in the latter case with a minimum of 7 years' post qualification experience • Minimum of an Upper Second-Class Honours law degree; from a Tier 1 University is preferred • Experience working in a top-tier international or leading offshore law firm • Proven track record of leading and managing complex legal transactions • Demonstrated ability to perform above and beyond expectations in a fast-paced and high-performance culture while delivering an accurate and timely work product • Highly skilled and proficient in written and verbal communication • Experience working with legal precedents and law firm management tools including timekeeping and billing systems. • Relevant business development and marketing experience within a top tier international or leading offshore law firm. • Demonstrated track record of sound financial management. • Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment, a team player and role model, able to empower others to deliver their best work.
