Responsible for the Electrical installation of residential & commercial projects. Read/Edit drawings, Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Excellent physical condition, technically oriented, and enjoys a hands-on work environment. Must be flexible to work long shifts and overnight. 5 years of experience in Residential & 2 years in Commercial projects. Electrical License REQUIRED Requirements & Qualifications: 1. Cayman Islands Wireman License - Wireman Level 1) An electrical license from a country with a similar code to NEC 14. 2. Electrical Technical Degree/Certificate. 3. Cayman Islands Driving License. 4. 5 years experience in Residential Installation. 5. 2 years experience in Commercial & Industrial Installation. 6. Excellent communication skills – written & verbal. 7. Flexible schedule. 8. Able to work with EMT, Rigid, PVC and other common conduit materials. 9. Able to install power to industrial equipment i.e. Air Conditioning, Chillers, pumps, etc. 10. Able to install 1-phase & 3-phase equipment up to code (NEC 14). Responsibilities: 1. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. 3. Inspect & test electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, malfunctioning and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with current codes. NEC 2014. 4. Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations. 5. Help train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. 6. Perform physically demanding tasks, such as lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects (70lb) on regular basis. 7. Engage in company trainings & community work.
