Developing store strategies to raise customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability. Meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to store staff. Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards. Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc Propose innovative ideas to increase market share. Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc) Assigning responsibilities and setting sales quotas and performance management based on metrics. Controlling inventory to ensure sufficient stock, daily and weekly counts, rotated and changed by season, shop specials or sales. Sharing product knowledge with customers and with store's team members Inspiring the team to do their best by being a role model and an authoritative example of their possible future with the company. Monitoring staff behaviour, attitude, and presentation to make sure they are a positive reflection of the retail store's values. Keeping records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee performance. Implementing measures to avoid stock damage, theft, and wastage. Addressing customers' requests, comments, and complaints. Prepare detailed reports on buying trends, customer requirements, and profits to the management Should be flexible with working hours at any of the business locations Requirements Overall 5+ years experience 2 years retail/grocery store operation experience Must be knowledgeable about Indian products, brands, and types of food Knowledge on FIFO and POS Experience in stock stacking and inventory management Team Management experience
