As a Recruitment Advisor (RA), you will be pivotal in attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent primarily across our offices in BVI, Bermuda and Cayman. You will collaborate closely with the Senior HR Managers (SHRM), and other key stakeholders to assist in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies that align with our firm's objectives and culture. Your role will also ensure that all recruitment activities adhere to the principles of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI), fostering an equitable and inclusive hiring process. Additionally, as a member of the HR team, you will contribute to HR administrative tasks, supporting the overall HR function. The post holder will be responsible for and expected to carry out the following duties: Strategy and Planning • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract diverse and top talent for the region. • Conduct market research to identify talent trends and salary and benefits trends. • Collaborate with the Senior HR Manager and other leaders to align recruitment strategies with firm goals. Talent Acquisition • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, developing and maintaining interview guides, interviewing and selection (when needed). • Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, career fairs and networking events. • Work with the SHRMs and hiring managers to create and maintain job descriptions and requirements. • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Stakeholder Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and department heads to understand their hiring needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practices. • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to promote the firm's employer brand and attract top talent. Compliance and Reporting • Ensure recruitment processes comply with local employment laws and firm policies. • Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to the principles of JEDI. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports. • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities and metrics to the Senior HR Manager. Onboarding and Integration • Work with other HR teams to develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new hires. • Support new hires in their integration into the firm, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience. HR Administrative Support: • Assist with various HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, preparing HR documents, and coordinating HR processes. • Support the HR team in organising training sessions, HR events, and employee engagement initiatives. • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance the overall HR operations and employee experience. This position requires an individual with : Competencies and Skills: • Commitment to JEDI: Strong understanding and commitment to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion principles. • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with firml goals and JEDI principles. • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously. • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse market trends and recruitment metrics to make data-driven decisions. • Adaptability: Ability to stay updated on industry trends and adapt recruitment strategies accordingly. • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with HR teams and other departments. • Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of local employment law(s) Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the legal or financial services industry. • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices in BVI, Cayman or Bermuda • Demonstrated commitment to JEDI principles in previous roles. • Familiarity with various recruitment channels and tools. • Excellent organisational and reporting skills.
