PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Acting as Court appointed Official Liquidator;  • Taking lead responsibility for insolvency assignments, including any required supervision and engagement management;  • Day-to-day management and administration of the Firm’s insolvency practice;  • Promoting the Crowe brand in the Cayman Islands through networking and involvement in the professional community;  • Formulating and implementing effective networking and business strategies within the insolvency arena; and  • Maintaining all requisite licensing, both personal and Crowe Cayman related, including obtaining necessary CPE credits and liaising with local regulatory bodies.  CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS, AS A MINIMUM:  • Be qualified to act as an official liquidator in accordance with the Insolvency Practitioners’ Regulations 2018 of the Companies Law;  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in insolvency and restructuring, with a detailed knowledge of cross border insolvency and litigation issues and the Cayman Islands offshore industry;  • A thorough knowledge of the relevant Cayman Islands insolvency laws and all regulatory and compliance requirements;  • Proven track record of playing an integral role in growing a restructuring and insolvency practice in the Cayman Islands; and  • Willingness to travel overseas in carrying out their professional duties for clients and representing the firm at industry events.  Salary will be in the range of US$140k to US$160k dependent on experience and qualifications, plus statutory benefits as required by law.
