Floor Operations Assistant The Floor Operations Assistant position is responsible for the support person for the stores’ organization and each individual business unit. Duties include general clerical, data entry, administrative, and project based work through in-person, telephone and e-mail interaction with the Sales Managers. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Key responsibilities and job duties will initially include but not be limited to the following: • Data entry of information into the computer system, more specifically generation and execution of case counts, merchandise transfers, inventory receipts and watch and jewellery repairs • Verification of all layaways and special orders • Review and manage store supplies • Coordinate maintenance issues with Facilities • Manage weekly reporting of Key Performance Indicators • Prepare the updates of the floor case plans and the distribution to Sales Managers • Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to: e-mailing, photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing • Perform time clock review and approval within required deadlines • Perform other duties as may be required by the Manager including, among other things, providing cover on the sales floor when needed KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • Accuracy and integrity of data entered and/or submitted • Consistent adherence to all deadlines • Presentation of data according to standards • Adherence to all standard operating procedures • Performance of duties without disruption of sales • Respectful, concise and consistent communication with Sales Professionals, Area and Zone Sales Managers and corporate office REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS • Minimum of two (2) years prior administrative support experience • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail and be naturally detail oriented • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline oriented environment • Strong organizational skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • High level of proficiency with a variety of computer applications, including Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint • Ability to communicate in English in a clear & concise manner • In addition to above requirements, further career experience in retail marketing, merchandising and/or retail operations preferred. • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, good work ethic
