Duties: • Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers; • Commercial and industrial tool knowledge a MUST • Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers; • Developing an implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales; • Experience with MechoShade and Hunter Douglas brands (installation experience would be an asset); • Maintaining an accurate records of all leads, customer accounts and sales • Experience with flooring (carpet, LVT and SPC); installation experience would be an asset; • Collaborating with the marketing department to expand brand presence through the creation of suitable marketing materials • Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events • Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years customer experience • Effective communication and negotiation skills • Independent thinker, problem solver and decision maker • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills • Accountable • Tech savy (Microsoft office, familiar with iOS/iPad) • Proven outside sales experience • Strong consultative sales skills • Ability to multi-task • Exceptional customer service skills • Smart phone technology highly preferred • Clean police record Remuneration: 20 hours weekly; CI$1200.00 base monthly + commission
