WE WANT YOU TO: Oversee predevelopment feasibility and vetting variables for inclusion in project underwriting. Actively lead Real Estate planning sessions to ensure development projects are aligned with, and support, the company’s vision and can be effectively translated into measurable project plans and actions that strive for long term profitability. Lead and be responsible for evaluating project opportunities and preparation of the Development business case aligned with the company’s Framework For Delivery. Work to establish a shared vision for development project excellence by defining, refining and implementing synergistic strategies that enhance long-term project value. Manage third party consultants to develop concepts and design solutions to fulfill project requirements. Prepare Requests for Proposals for design services, issue, and monitor and assess submissions, provide recommendations to Client Depts. Generate project Schedules (Pull Planning experience is an advantage) for the design and approval process. Manage the satisfactory production of design information by in-house and consultant resources to suit level of development (LOD) progressions and in house BIM/VDC protocols. Lead in project meetings with client departments, design, and construction teams. Ensure that Quality Control plans of consultants are adhered to. Prepare and monitor project schedule for design process, coordinate schedule interfaces with Construction team. Manage and report on the entire development process. DO YOU HAVE: A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or other relevant discipline. A professional qualification in Architecture, Engineering or other relevant discipline. Ten (10) years’ experience within the real estate development industry (architectural design, civil and structural or mechanical and electrical engineering, and project management) on projects of $50mm scale and complexity. Demonstrated track record of managing Development project teams (including Architect, Engineers, Consultants, Project Manager, Legal and Real Estate Management representatives) working to tightly defined schedule, quality and budget constraints. Experience of design and construction in international / island environments addressing issues of harsh environments, hurricane resistant design and construction, and project planning. Thorough knowledge and experience of the design process to generate of virtually constructed BIM’s in respect of level of development (LOD) progressions. Knowledge of commercial management and contracts. Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Excellent business case preparation and reporting skills. Thorough working knowledge of MS Windows suite & Office applications (Excel, Word, Project), and other computer skills associated with the development and construction industry. Experience in managing projects via a common data environment (CDE).
