Revenue Cycle Management: o Billing and Collections: Overseeing billing processes, revenue cycle operations, and collections from patients and insurance companies. o Contract Negotiations: Collaborating with payers and negotiating contracts to optimize reimbursement rates. o Revenue Enhancement: Identifying ways to increase revenue, such as improving coding accuracy or expanding services. 3. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: o Compliance Oversight: Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, billing guidelines, and financial reporting requirements. o Internal Controls: Establishing and monitoring internal controls to prevent fraud and maintain financial integrity. o Audit Coordination: Coordinating external and internal audits and responding to audit findings. 4. Leadership and Collaboration: o Team Management: Leading cross country finance team, including accountants, analysts, and revenue cycle staff. o Collaboration: Working closely with insurance providers and internal management teams and executive leadership to align financial goals with overall organizational objectives. 5. Qualifications: o Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required. A master’s degree or CPA certification is strongly preferred. o Skills: Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), strong verbal and interpersonal skills, and quantitative abilities. o Experience – 3 to 5 years of experience in healthcare or insurance sector is mandatory.
