lead the development and implementation of the Compliance Monitoring programme in Cayman. The role will also be responsible for working with the other jurisdictions in the Americas region to ensure a consistent framework is in place. The other jurisdictions are Bahamas, BVI, Delaware and Curacao. Working in a rapidly changing environment, the role, reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance, Americas, requires a pro-active approach to help drive us towards a market leading risk management approach. Your Responsibilities The Compliance Monitoring role is integral to achieving the firm’s strategic objectives, helping ensure the business operates in compliance with the applicable legal and regulatory framework. Key focus areas: • Lead the risk assessment and design of the Intertrust Cayman Compliance Monitoring plan • Implement the compliance monitoring plan, utilising resource as required from the broader compliance team to carry out the testing • Drive development of a consistent approach to compliance monitoring across the Americas region ensuring all jurisdictions design and implement effective compliance monitoring plans • Provide regular and detailed compliance monitoring reports to senior management and the boards of the regulated entities • Work with senior management to identify and implement corrective actions and recommendations where required • Build strong and open partnerships across 1st, 2nd and 3rd LoD, ensuring a risk and compliance focussed approach with the requisite people and technology capabilities. • Drive development of a high performing and influential 2nd line risk function that supports Intertrust’s transformation agenda. • Cement the 2nd line risk function, driving risk awareness and culture across the firm. Qualifications • ACAMS Qualification or a relevant Compliance Qualification and 10 years plus compliance experience • A demonstrable experience in compliance and compliance monitoring • Stakeholder management. The successful Vice President has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization. • Results orientated - a commitment to demonstrably improve key business metrics. • Strong project management experience. • Solid negotiation skills with the willingness and ability to adapt influencing styles and approaches as needed. • A long-term track record of achievement in financial services. • A self-starter with the ability and drive to act on their own initiative. • Strong Microsoft skills, including excel, word and powerpoint Required education
