The Sales Representative-WINE will primarily be responsible for sales and marketing activity within the Wine wholesale division, with duties that include but are not limited to: • Develop new business opportunities. o Wine focused but also responsible for Beer, Spirits and Non Alcoholic sales into assigned accounts • Maintain constant communication with operations so that special promotions, wine by the glass listings are backed up with proper inventories o Quarterly Account audits to highlight opportunities and weaknesses • Complete weekly action report on your accounts to be returned into sales manager; including total sales and new business obtained • Provide trainings, tastings, Wine Dinners, Events and Activations for Clients • Assist in developing private client wine sales and fostering corporate relationships • Increase Points of Distribution on all brands • Achieve Quarterly Sales Targets • Develop the Cayman Distributors brand • Growing relationships with key vendors and accounts • Conduct promotions, organize events on a regular basis • Work with Sales Team to ensure that brand strategy is translated to marketplace activities that drive sales and profits Qualifications: • A minimum of five (5) years proven experience of developing wine and spirit brands • Minimum WSET 2 (Wine and Spirit Education Training Level 2) required • Must understand product marketing and ability to manage promotional events • An excellent understanding of the Cayman Islands wine, spirits and Mixology market including current consumer trends, both locally and globally • Excellent customer relations and communication skills • Comfortable presenting tasting seminars and public speaking • Strong working knowledge of all major MS Office programs, Sales Pad, Citrix • Ability to work long and often unsociable hours without immediate supervision • Must enjoy working in a fast paced, target orientated team • A valid Cayman Islands drivers license
