The Web3 Client Relationship Officer will support the DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) Services business and be accountable for the operations and services standards, whilst creating strong, profitable and personal relationships with clients and service providers within the digital asset space. The candidate is expected to: • be actively involved in new business development, constantly seeking out relationships that enrich Marfire’s knowledge and experience in the industry; • be a thought-leader within the Digital Assets space, showing an active curiosity and passion for the work that we do and the value that we create; and • uphold Marfire’s core values by promoting a culture of professionalism, teamwork and leadership. Main responsibilities • Act as an outsourced accounting and operations officer for our DAO clients • Act as primary contact for the foundations • Assist the Foundation in managing its general operations, administration and various functions integral to its daily operations • Engage, collaborate with and manage the Foundations service providers • Provide outsourced accounting work • Populating and maintaining the books and records of the Foundation • Preparing management financial statements and reporting results to the BoD • Manage accounts payable/payments + receivable/receipts • Assist Marfire Consulting Limited with creating efficient and effective working templates to provide financial reporting • Assist with Grant Management • Establish policies and procedures and a grant framework • Review grant proposals • Complete KYC and Due Diligence on grant proposals • Produce and track fee proposals for client service enquiries • Take ownership for client onboarding, ensuring all due diligence and KYC procedures are adhered to at the highest standard of compliance • Produce monthly reports, articles and presentations as required • Maintain excellent working relationships with all service providers within the financial services industry • Other duties as required by Directors from time to time. Qualifications and Experience • Candidate must hold an accounting designation (being CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent. • Candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience. • Candidate should have at least 2 years demonstrable experience in the Digital Assets/Web3/Crypto space. • Candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience in a management level role that is client-facing. • Demonstrable experience with preparing and delivering presentations and working directly with clients and service providers, is also required.
