Island Veterinary Services is a full-service veterinary practice in the Cayman Islands completely dedicated to the wellbeing of their client’s pet. Along with providing the finest medical and surgical care available, they are also committed to treating both their client’s pets with the utmost care and compassion. Their brand-new veterinary hospital offers a dedicated cat ward, dog ward, and isolation ward. They have a state-of-the-art treatment and ICU area and surgical suite, and their facility has been designed for their patients' comfort and optimum care. The Veterinarian will work with a wide range of clients and pets. They are very well-equipped, including ultrasound, IDEXX diagnostics, and digital radiography. The practice offers emergency after-hours callouts, which are shared by the staff veterinarians. The veterinarian on call receives 50% of the total emergency fee. Duties would include, but not limited to; • Performing surgery • Seeing patients as appointments and drop-offs • Supporting other vets • Taking after-hours calls A minimum of 5 years' experience is required. The candidate must also have clean police clearance and be able to take on the role with little to no training.
