Celebrations Group Ltd. is an all-service Wedding and Special Event company and needs an Event Planner. The company needs an Events Planner Assistant to provide administrative organizational and operational support to their Special Events Department, maintain and coordinate schedules. This person will work directly with clients, vendors, suppliers, and support staff to ensure the smooth execution of all events. (Only Caymanians and PR/RERC Status Holder need apply) Key Responsibilities: • Manage SE Department calendar and schedule appointments. • Have complete product knowledge of all of Celebrations Ltd's products and services. • Screen incoming calls and correspondence responding independently when possible. • Create and maintain accurate and current files and filing system. • Compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested. • Maintain up-to-date contact records for all jobs. • Create and maintain database and spreadsheet files. • Prepare materials for Planners, including client presentations and event-related stationery. • Strong knowledge of in-house computer programs such as Fusion and Counterpoint. • Maintain confidentiality of all Celebrations Ltd., clients, and information at all times. • Reserve venues, transportation, and accommodation for events, clients, and performing artists. • Attend on-site meetings with Planners. • Assist with the coordination of weddings and events. • Handle rental, floral jobs, and small weddings. A minimum of 5 years’ experience relevant to the role is required. Working hours are varied and include evenings, weekends, and Public Holidays. The work environment will include working outdoors from time to time and sometimes in hot weather conditions. Must have clean driving and police records and own transportation.
