We are looking for a skilled, experienced mason who can cut, dress, and lay stone, and who is proficient with both modern power tools and traditional hand tools. Mason Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints/drawings to determine specifications and calculate materials required. Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to build or refurbish walls, arches, and other structures. Apply and smooth mortar or other mixture over work surface. Operate heavy machinery and tools, such as mixers, saws, drills, and blowtorches. Restore, clean, and repair existing masonry structures. Ensure structures are level and compatible with local codes and regulations. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Masons also engage in setting up and taking down scaffolding and other temporary structures necessary for the completion of masonry jobs. Effective communication with other construction team members and adherence to safety protocols are imperative daily practices. Requirements: Proven work experience in a Mason or similar role. Experience working with other professionals on a construction site. Certification in masonry or equivalent is preferred but not required. Proven experience as a Mason with a minimum of 5 years in the industry. Thorough understanding of masonry techniques and use of hand tools and equipment. Ability to read and follow blueprints and documentation. Strong physical condition and endurance. High school diploma or equivalent. With Clean Police record.
