National Training and Development Unit

Who We Are

The National Training & Development Unit seeks to connect Caymanians with training and development opportunities to pursue specific certifications, support clients and employers during job placement and provide Caymanians with employment skills training and guidance.

What We Do

The Unit provides Caymanians seeking employment or training access to workforce readiness training programmes, recognised certifications, upskilling and hands-on training opportunities. It connects employers to those seeking opportunities through Apprenticeships and Internships. 

Caymanians must register on the Jobs Portal to access the training and development opportunities. Registering as a Job Seeker Assist provides Caymanians with the added benefit of access to an Employment Services Officer to assist them in their job search. This assigned officer assistance can provide one-on-one service whereby Caymanians can be assessed, evaluated and connected to available employment, training and development opportunities free of charge.
