WORC Online Services & Temporary Payment Arrangements

As the existing JobsCayman online portal goes offline,  a site offering reduced online services will be available on 3 June. This site is temporary and will allow the final developing and testing of the new WORC Jobs & Online Payment  Services which is anticipated to launch on 18 June 2024.

The temporary site will have the following key functionalities:

  • Employers can continue to post job advertisements on worc.ky, and
  • Job-seekers can still search and apply for jobs on worc.ky.

However, payments must be made in-person. Customers submitting three (3) or more applications are encouraged to utilize the corporate drop bag to reduce wait times. Customer Care Officers will be on hand to review documents and ensure drop off is handled as efficiently as possible.

Passport Endorsement Stamps for Immediate Travel

WORC requests that during this time of transition only persons with immediate travel plans who want to secure a passport endorsement stamp to do so within ten (10) days before travelling. This measure will assist WORC in managing the high demand of this service as the summer approaches and persons travel plans increase. Persons are also reminded that a valid permit license can also be used as a travel document.

WORC appreciates your understanding and cooperation as these changes commence to enhance our service delivery. The office number remains the same at 945-9672, toll free 1-800-534-9672 or email WORC@gov.ky. For further updates on these changes visit worc.ky or follow on Facebook and Instagram.

New hello2HIRED Initiative Connects Caymanians with Employers

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, 27 February 2026 – The Ministry of Caymanian Employment and Immigration (MCEI) has officially launched hello2HIRED, a new employment initiative aimed at connecting Caymanian job seekers directly with employers, while offering practical, on-site career support.

The inaugural event, held on 23 February 2026 at Signal House, Cayman Enterprise City, brought together 66 job seekers, 20 employer representatives, and several workforce support partners. Employers conducted interviews and hosted networking discussions, providing attendees with immediate access to recruiters and current job opportunities. By facilitating direct employer engagement with professional support services, participants were able to explore available roles while strengthening their overall job readiness.

hello2HIRED provides an organised and supportive environment where job seekers and employers can interact productively. The initiative underscores the Ministry’s continued focus on workforce employment, as well as their development by creating accessible pathways to becoming hired, professional guidance, and meaningful hiring engagement within a single forum.

Participants also accessed on-site services delivered by Workforce Opportunities & Residency Cayman (WORC), the Cayman Islands Recruitment Association (CIRA), and Baraud, which offered employment guidance, mentoring, and resumé assistance.

Hon. Michael Myles, Minister for Caymanian Employment and Immigration, praised the initiative, stating: “hello2HIRED is about creating real opportunities for Caymanians. By bringing employers and job seekers together in one space, supported by practical career services, we are making the pathway to employment more accessible, more structured, and more intentional”.

The Ministry extends its appreciation to all participating employers, partners, job seekers and volunteers whose collaboration contributed to the success of the inaugural event.
