The Cayman Islands Government provides an ex-gratia benefit to eligible retired Caymanian Seafarers or their surviving spouses, in recognition of their contribution to these Islands.
Seafarer BenefitsHow We Can Help
The DFA provides financial assistance to people who find themselves unable to fund their basic needs, such as shelter, food, and clothing. The financial assistance is normally a short-term measure, intended to provide a temporary bridge to help our clients back onto their feet. At the same time, we recognise that the elderly, or those with a permanent disability, may need longer-term help.
