Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, 3 July 2025 – Workforce Opportunities & Residency Cayman (WORC) reminds all Permanent Residency holders that duly completed Annual Declaration Forms must be submitted on or before the expiry date of their annual payment.
In accordance with Section 37(12) of the Immigration (Transition) Act, holders of a Certificate issued under subsection (5), or under Sections 41 or 42, are required to submit an annual declaration containing the prescribed particulars relating to themselves and their dependants. Failure to submit this declaration is an offence and may result in the revocation of the Certificate.
The Annual Declaration Form is expected to be submitted together with payment of the annual residency fee.
If you have already paid your annual residency fee but have not yet submitted your Annual Declaration Form for 2025, you are strongly urged to do so immediately to avoid the potential revocation of your Permanent Residency.
As of July 2025, WORC will be intensifying its ongoing monitoring and enforcement of this requirement. While compliance has always been expected, stricter enforcement measures will now be applied. Non-compliance may result in fines of up to CI$5,000 and potential revocation of residency status.
