Employment Services Unit
WORC Employment Services team connects Caymanian job seekers with current employment opportunities. The team partners with Caymanians who need assistance with:
Identifying career interests
Reviewing available job opportunities
Enhance job search skills
Identify skill sets and match with jobs
Prepare cover letters, resumes and complete formal applications
Prepare for job interviews
Access other support networks
The team also assists employers who need assistance with linking qualified Caymanian job seekers to current job opportunities.
When a job seeker registers on WORC’s Jobs there are 3 service options available to them: Job Seeker Extended, Job Seeker Plus and Job Seeker
Option 1 – Full Services client
Job Seeker Extended– Available to Caymanians OnlyAs a Job Seeker Extended client, an Employment Services Officer will be assigned to you for the next stages of your search for employment and will partner with you as you take steps towards accessing employment opportunities.
This service option includes Self-Referral access to current employment opportunities featured on the JobsCayman, a Career Action Planning which can include referral to key support services to mitigate potential barriers to employment, jobs search and support services as well as access to Free Training and Development opportunities with WORC.
In order for Employment Services to effectively deliver job seeker support, Job Seeker Extended clients are required at minimum to:
Attend meetings with the assigned Employment Services Officer (ESO) as agreed.
Notify the ESO when unable to attend to ensure all clients have the benefit of timely appointments that can reallocated.
Participate in the agreed career action planning process which can include recommended training and development and other identified external support services.
Keep in regular contact with the ESO
Respond to contact by ESO in relation to job recommendation
Attend interviews as may be scheduled and update ESO on outcomes where possible
Immediately advise ESO should employment be obtained independent of WORC
Documents needed at the time of registration are:
Valid Photo ID (Passport, Driver’s Licence or Voter’s Registration Card)
Resume / CV
Proof of Caymanian Citizenship (Birth Certificate, Acknowledgement Letter, Status Letter)
After Registration documents that may be required by the Employer as part of employment screening: (However that is information not collected by WORC and is the responsibility of the job seeker):
Job Reference LettersPolice Record (6 months or less)Medical (possibly on job offer)
Drivers License (where job relevant)

Option 2 – Independent JobsCayman Client
Job Seeker Plus – Available to Caymanians Only
This service option requires the Caymanian job seeker to review and apply directly by self-referral access to current employment opportunities featured on the Job portal and includes access to Free Training and Development opportunities through WORC.
Note: This option does not provide a assigned Employment Services Officer.
Documents needed at the time of registration:
- Valid Photo ID (Passport, Driver’s Licence or Voter’s Registration Card)
- Resume / CV
- Proof of Caymanian Citizenship(Birth Certificate, Acknowledgement Letter, Status Letter)
After Registration documents that may be required by the Employer as part of employment screening: (However that is information not collected by WORC and is the responsibility of the job seeker ):

- Police Record (6 months or less)
- Medical (possibly on job offer)
- Drivers License (where job relevant)
Option 3 – Independent JobsCayman Client
Job Seeker – Available to persons with Permanent Residency, persons with Employment Rights to Work and Legal and Ordinary Residents.
This service option includes self-referral for current employment opportunities featured on the Job portal.
Note: This option does not provide an assigned Employment Services Officer.

Valid Photo ID (Passport, Driver’s Licence or Voter’s Registration Card)
Resume / CV
- Proof of Right to Work (Work permit letter, Permanent Residency with the Right to Work, Residency and Employment Rights Certificate).
