FAQs
I'm not receiving the email with the One Time Passcode
Emails are always sent by us within seconds of you making the request. The time it takes to deliver these emails depends largely on your email service provider. If you have not received the email from us, there are a number of possible reasons:
- The email may be in your Spam or Junk folder
- Please check your spam and junk mail folders for the email.
- The email address was not recognised: we don't have an account associated with your email address.
- Could you have used a different email address to create your account?
- Consider creating a new account with your current email address.
- If you are using a corporate email address, the organisation may have blocked our email.
- Ask your administrator to safelist emails from no-reply-eServices@gov.ky.
Note also that we are aware that Yahoo and candw.ky may delay our emails for several minutes prior to delivery.
If you experience ongoing problems receiving emails, we suggest that you explore the other available options for one-time-passcodes: using SMS (text message) or an Authenticator App.

I'm seeing "Your link or passcode may have expired"
We have also seen corporate email gateways performing security checks on the links we send, and in effect using up the link prior to delivering it to the recipient. If you suspect that this might be the problem, please ask your IT administrator to configure their gateway to trust emails from no-reply-eServices@gov.ky, or links that lead to the https://am.online.gov.ky domain.

Blocked because of a potential security concern
- Please ensure that the browser that you are using is up-to-date. Older browsers may not support the level of encryption required by our systems. Update your browser, or try using a different browser to access our systems.
- It is possible that the IP address that you are connecting from has been flagged as a potential risk. Try connecting from a different network. For example, try connecting using a mobile device on a mobile network instead of from your home or office internet connection. IP addresses in specific geographies around the world tend to be more prone to being flagged as a risk.

Problems Registering
We always send the registration email within seconds of the registration request being submitted, so if you are not receiving your email it is almost certainly because it is being blocked by your company or email provider, or because it is being filed as junk mail.
- The email may be in your Spam or Junk folder
- Please check your spam and junk mail folders for the email.
- The email address was entered incorrectly
- Please try registering again, ensuring that you have typed the email address accurately.
- If you are using a corporate email address, the organisation may have blocked our email.
- Ask your administrator to safelist emails from no-reply-eServices@gov.ky.
- Consider using another email address outside your organisation. For personal matters, we recommend using a personal email address.
Note also that we are aware that Yahoo and candw.ky may delay our emails for several minutes prior to delivery. Delivery to yahoo addresses cannot be guaranteed.
For other matters related to registration, please refer to the User Guide.
