The Labour Market Demands arm of WORC has the vision to achieve full and productive employment of a globally competitive Caymanian workforce and a mission to provide accurate, timely and insightful data on the labour needs of the Cayman Islands.

Strategic Objective:

To serve as the authority on the labour needs of the Cayman Islands using a data-driven approach by 2030.

Initiatives:

• Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships with government, private sector, educational institutions and other entities.

• Disseminate the monthly job postings and annual labour market reports.

• Conduct qualitative assessments with industry experts to obtain information on labour needs.

• Produce annual forecasts of key labour market indicators.

• Undertake specialised research on segments of the labour market to inform policy making.

• Respond to data requests on labour demand in a timely and effective manner.
