WORC Prepares Staff Ahead of Immigration Changes

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, 18 March 2026 – Workforce Opportunities & Residency Cayman (WORC) has taken significant steps to ensure staff are well informed and prepared to implement and enforce upcoming immigration changes.

Under the leadership of Director Jeremy Scott, and in collaboration with the Attorney General’s Chambers, WORC recently conducted a series of full-day and half-day training sessions. These sessions were designed to equip employees, and members of the respective Boards under WORC, with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively support the public when the legislative changes come into effect.

Director Scott has also prioritised strengthening internal communication and feedback mechanisms across the organisation. These efforts are intended to keep staff engaged, informed, and able to respond effectively to evolving legal requirements through continued staff development and proactive communication.

By investing in training and improved internal communication, WORC aims to maintain a knowledgeable and responsive workforce capable of delivering high-quality service as new immigration measures are introduced.
