Outreach

The Outreach arm of WORC is a community-wide initiative across all three (3) islands to promote the available services to all Caymanians.

WORC provides community outreach to a cross-section of persons (unemployed, underemployed, and employed) who would not normally traverse to the WORC office location to promote our WORC services. Specific support and services are offered to eligible Caymanians who fall within the following categories: incarcerated, ex-offenders, drug-related offenders, mentally ill, or disabled with employment and/or training opportunities to enter the workforce.

The Outreach portfolio aims to maintain open and constructive relationships with private and public stakeholders, including the prisons, the courts, rehabilitation centres, local schools and universities, employers, employment agencies and education and training institutions to promote the Human Capital Development agenda and facilitate a cooperative approach to employment issues.
